Harmony Korine is not a super well-known filmmaker but his upcoming film, Spring Breakers, has a lot more mainstream appeal than his usual films.
The film features some well known young ladies in Disney stars Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens plus ABC Family star Ashley Benson and Heather Morris of Glee.
Add in the ever-present James Franco and bam, you’ve got a sleazy magical Spring Break!
Bikinis! Guns! Tears! Corn rows! Grills! Crime spree!
Banging music and bodies! Beaches! Under-aged grinding! Gucci Mane! Phat beats! Neon! Danger! And a Britney Spears sing-a-long!
Like his other films, this is sure to be controversial and sexy. It looks so gritty and pretty.
It’s won me over. But then again, I’m always swayed by a good, sleazy, magical crime-filled spring break.
