The story of Las Vegas USA is a story shared with many online casinos. Launched in 1999, Las Vegas USA was an early entity in the world of online casino gaming. The market was new, the aesthetic was fresh, and prospects were great. It’s not 1999 anymore, though, and the trends that were relevant then are not relevant now. Has Las Vegas USA got the message? We’re not sure how to respond to that. As you’ll find out throughout our review, there’s a lot about this casino that feels outdated. The website design is pretty ghastly, and the games are definitely not what we’d call modern (though that in itself in not necessarily a bad thing). Las Vegas USA is aware enough of the current market enough to have a mobile app, and that’s what we’ll be looking at specifically in more depth today. Does the app (which you can access simply through the internet browser on your phone) match the standards of a modern mobile app experience? Right from the get-go, the homepage is hosting some blurry text, which makes us certain that the old-school feel isn’t going to be escaped on mobile, either. Still, an open mind is needed here. Read on to find out if Las Vegas USA’s mobile casino really is Vegas in a portable form.
Welcome Bonus for Las Vegas USA New Players
Aspects of a casino are always susceptible to change, and that includes welcome bonuses. Philosophies and business maxims, though, tend to be much more rigid. When looking at Las Vegas USA’s welcome bonus options, a couple of things ring pretty clearly to us. One is that promotions are definitely at the heart of the operation here. Even in terms of welcome bonuses alone, there are multiple options to choose from, which to us is a pretty big plus. Another thing is that with the welcome bonus packages, Las Vegas USA definitely seem to be attracting a very specific kind of audience – the high rolling audience that is ready to splurge. Some of these bonus offers rise well into the thousands, so that could be a huge incentive if you take gaming really seriously. Of course, keep in mind that you ultimately reap what you invest with these bonus schemes. One negative here that might put players off is that to in order to claim bonuses, you need to contact the casino support team, rather than doing it automatically through your deposit.
Creating an account with Las Vegas Casino USA
When it comes to making an account for the mobile version of the casino, we have good and bad news. The good news is that registering is a simple process, and very much in line with what you’d expect on any efficient mobile casino. There’s a three-tab process in which you input all the necessary details. Then, you’re good to go. The bad news is that making an account is kind of necessary if you want to access the mobile casino lobby at all. You can’t see what games are available to play unless you’re logged in. We think this is a big problem, because people do have the right to know what games are on offer and even test them out in free play mode if they want to arrive at the best decision for them. Sure, there is one solution, and that is to check out the lobby on the desktop version of the site. On your PC you can even access the mobile version of the lobby without being logged in, which really seems like the priorities are a little mixed here. It might not bother anyone who spends time gambling on the PC too, but for those who are exclusively mobile users, we think this might be a bit of an inconvenience.
Casino Promotions at Casino Las Vegas USA
The promotions don’t stop with the welcome package at Las Vegas USA. In fact, there are so many ongoing promotions that it might seem overwhelming to keep up with them all. Some of these promotions are seasonal or one-time affairs, but others are consistently available. There’s also a wide variety of bonuses to get your hands on, including match, double-match, reload, refer-a-friend bonuses, and more. Plus, even though we said that Las Vegas USA seems to be set on attracting highrollers, you can deposit a very reasonable minimum of $20 for these bonuses.
We don’t imagine you’ll be surprised when we tell you that Last Vegas USA is not really the casino you’ll want to sign up with for modern, 3D animation games. The games here are all pretty old-school and simple. Is that a negative quality of the lobby? That depends. If you’re really after flash, then you won’t find it here. However, the main advantage of these no-frills, 2D games is that the payouts tend to be slightly higher than the newer offerings. The fact that Las Vegas USA has an average payout percentage of 98.7% is proof of this. That’s definitely something to consider. Plus, just because the games are a more bare-bones than what you might find at most casinos, this does not mean that they’re completely void of features. You’ll still find your fair share of multipliers and wild symbols. As for quantity, the selection isn’t too huge. The desktop version of the casino holds over 250 games, while the mobile version has considerably less. That wouldn’t be bad if it meant that quality was the order of the day – but is it?
As with most modern casinos, slot games are the main attraction here. Though the games here are indeed fun, expect a lot of samey-ness in terms of gameplay. The most variety will be found in the choice of themes. Take games like Builder Beaver, The Big Bopper, and Lucky 6. All these games are thematically different, but aside from little quirks there’s not much in the way of differentiation. Sometimes we find that when an online casino hosts slots of this nature, they generally have a pretty decent progressive slots selection. Las Vegas USA falls a little short here, as there are only two available, namely Megasaur and Spirit of the Inca.
Table Games & More
Admittedly, the quality-over-quantity maxim seems to have been adopted for the casino’s table games section. At the time of writing this review, there are only 15 table games available on mobile, but there’s a pretty decent mix to be found here. You’ve got titles ranging from European Blackjack, to Pontoon, to Let ‘em Ride, and more. On the other hand, if you’re into video poker, you’re in luck – there are way more video poker options than there are table games at Las Vegas USA. There are also a few select speciality games for those days where you just want something completely different. Keno is probably the more conventional offering in this regard, but if you’re feeling extra adventurous, try your hand at Treasure Tree.
Player support at Las Vegas USA
The player support team is in pretty tip-top shape, so there are really no complaints to be made in this regard. Like many modern online casinos, the team is available 24/7, and there are two main ways of contacting it. One way, which is perhaps the easiest, is to make use of the live chat feature which you can access directly through the app. The other is to shoot the team an email on firstname.lastname@example.org. You might have noticed that there’s no available telephone mobile number through which you can contact the casino. This might be an inconvenience to some, but we reckon that it is not really all that much of a big deal. How many people actually call their casinos? We’re willing to wager that not that many do. Still, we do respect that it might be seen as an oversight for the few who do.
Payment methods at Las Vegas USA Mobile
Some apps let you make deposits and withdrawals directly on your mobile, but this isn’t quite the case with Las Vegas USA – you’re asked to refer to customer support with help which gives the strong indication that any deposits you make will have to be done through your PC. This is substantiated by the fact that there’s not that much information about banking on the app itself. You do get information on what methods you can use to deposit and withdraw, of course. We were hoping that they would match up but they do not, for the most part. This is a common aspect of online casinos, but it doesn’t make having to use separate methods any less inconvenient. Speaking of inconvenient, we’re a bit perplexed at the fact that the casino only accepts deposits in USD, especially considering that all the financial transfers seem to go through the UK. Is the point to further create the aura of American-ness? If so, it’s definitely at the cost of the comfort of a multitude of players all over the world. For information on deposit and withdrawal amounts, you’re probably best off checking out the desktop version for a clearer layout. Depending on the method used, you can deposit as little as $20. With withdrawing it’s the same – Neteller is great if you want to withdraw small amounts of cash, but for methods like Courier you need to be prepared to withdraw large minimums, such a $400. Also keep in mind that you’ll be allowed to withdraw up to $5000 per week, but that’s only if you’re a platinum or diamond member. People in lower tiers have different allowances, so be sure to check those out. Cash-outs are also somewhat slow at Las Vegas USA – they can take up to two weeks.
Las Vegas USA Mobile - the place for high rollers!
As this review comes to a close, there is a lot that can be said about Las Vegas USA’s Mobile Casino, but unfortunately not all of it is good. That being said, there are still definitely aspects that are worth praising. Let’s go back to the context. What we’re dealing with here is essentially an old online casino. An old casino needs to get seasoned with age, not wrinkled. It needs to keep up with trends, or at least modernise enough that it remains relevant in the business. The fact that there’s a mobile app at all is definitely a step in the right direction. However, as is, the app is a bit clunky. It definitely feels like it’s supposed to be a supplement to the ‘main casino experience’, which is playing on the PC. Las Vegas USA need to realise that for a large demographic of people that’s not really the case anymore; many people do simply prefer to use their phones for gambling and would like to avoid the PC if they can. The fact that you can’t make direct deposits and withdrawals, or the fact that you can’t access the games lobby unless you’re logged in, are just a few of the factors that make the Las Vegas USA mobile app fall a little short. It doesn’t really hold its own against some other casino mobile apps out there already – let’s put it that way. That being said, there is good to be found here. The games might not be super modern, but they do have their niche, and are the reason why Las Vegas USA has such a nice overall payout percentage. That definitely makes it a contender for high rolling players who want to squeeze out the most out of what they put in. Furthermore, the casino should definitely appeal to people who are interested in big and frequent bonuses. This is definitely a forte at Las Vega USA. Unfortunately, we do wish that players didn’t have to claim them through email.
