Armed Robbery
Early in the morning of Sunday the 28th of March ten armed robbers arrived at the Grand Casino in two separate cars. After violently entering the building with a sledgehammer the group split up in two, with the first group swiftly emptying the checkouts.

The second group went straight to the jackpot: the vault where the big money was kept save. Luckily the group didn't succeed in cracking the safe, and the damage was limited to the $240,000 stolen from the cash registers.

Shots and Punches
At the time of the robbery about 600 visitors were gambling in the casino. According to the local Justice Department the robbers acted wildly - hitting the guests, throwing them on the ground and firing a couple of shots.

The raid ended with a few minor injuries and the burglars being picked up by two silver Audis, allegedly with French licensing plates. If the burglars have split up the money, they made $24,000 each, a meager catch considering the risks involved.
