It's been a rough week to be a Lamborghini, with two different wrecked Lambos making headlines.
23-year old rapper Tyga was the first to get in on the action, taking to Twitter to post a photo of his white Lamborghini that he'd just wrecked in a ditch.
The Young Money rapper owns a gold-plated Audi R8 and had dropped $375,000 on his Lamborghini Aventador before the little driving mishap, with that price tag undoubtedly going up after he gets the repair bill.
"Just crashed my lambo. Thank God for the seatbelt," was all Tyga had to share about the incident. Not that he'll notice it but his car insurance will likely be going up, as he's been popped numerous times in Las Vegas for speeding and reckless driving.
In a more unlikely Lambo crash story, Frito-Lay delivery driver David Dopp would seem to be a salt-of-the-earth type who'd never have a mishap behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Murcielago, but that's exactly what happened last weekend.
He'd just won the sweet ride in gas station operator Maverik's "Joe Schmo to Lamborghini" contest, but his trouble started after just a few hours behind the wheel.
Dopp first was stopped by police for speeding and then spun out on an icy road, doing serious damage to the Murcielago about six hours after he got his hands on the keys.
Dopp joked about his misfortune on Facebook but some friends aren't quite buying his story, with some hinting that he intentionally tried to total the car so he'd collect the full $300,000 value from his insurance policy.
Taxes on the car would likely cost him close to $100,000 so it may be a case of being careful about what you hope to win, with this being a case of a brand new Lambo being a bit too much to handle -- both on the road and financially -- for a mild-mannered Frito-Lay truck driver.
