Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones hopes the third time is the charm after marrying his 34 year-old girlfriend Sally Humphreys.
The venerable 65 year-old guitarist and Humphreys got hitched in a low-key affair at the Dorchester Hotel in London after dating for about six months. Woods reportedly went the old-fashioned route and asked Hunphrey's father's permission to marry her back in October.
After getting engaged then Humphreys downplayed the obvious age difference: "There's no problem with the age difference. I can understand why people would have a problem with it but it doesn't seem to cause any problems. We get on very well."
Rod Stewart was the best man, with Sir Paul McCartney in attendance as well as Wood's three children -- one of whom is older than his new step-mom -- and about fifty other guests.
This will be Wood's third crack at marriage. He previously married Krissy Findlay before splitting in 1978 and seemed to find marital bliss after marrying Jo Wood in 1985 -- until the two divorced in 2009 after Wood's affair with 21-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova.
As far as the core trio of the Stones, that just leaves Mick Jagger as currently single and available. Jagger's been unhitched since divorcing Jerry Hall in 1999 while Keith Richards and Patti Hansen wed in 1983 and have managed to make it work.
