Brooke Mueller is headed back to rehab -- reportedly for the 19th time -- to try to kick what she claims is an Adderall habit.
Mueller made headlines a few days back when she was rushed to the ER after her assistant found her unresponsive, but Mueller quashed rumors that she'd overdosed by chalking it up to exhaustion after a marathon jewelry-making bender that lasted three days.
Not everyone was convinced -- especially when Mueller hit the town later with blackened hands that she claimed came from spray paint and not a pipe -- despite the following statement from Mueller's lawyer:
"There were no illegal drugs in Brooke's system, and she is at home right now with her kids. Brooke did not overdose."
Best known as Charlie Sheen's third ex-wife (and mother to his twins), Mueller and Sheen split up in 2011 after several highly-publicized fights.
Mueller checked into rehab not long after their divorce was finalized for alcohol and drug problems.
She's since appeared in several television shows including her friend Paris Hilton's reality show "The World According to Paris."
She's also had several scrapes with the law, including several different assault cases and being caught repeatedly with cocaine in her possession.
Mueller finally admitted yesterday that she had been using Adderall before she was rushed to the hospital, taking far more than her prescribed dosage in an attempt to meet a deadline for her hand-made jewelry business that she launched in recent years.
If you're wondering who'll be watching the twins, that'd be Denise Richards -- Charlie Sheen's second ex-wfe.
Richards and Mueller are close friends (possibly bonding over crazy things Charlie Sheen has done), with Richards reportedly more than happy to help out.
