Hulk Hogan is starting off 2013 in a big way, firing off lawsuits left and right.
Hulk Hogan parlayed his rough-and-tumble wrestler image into millions of dollars but these days he seems to prefer to let his lawyers do all the fighting.
Hogan first made headlines in late 2012 when a sex tape surfaced, with the Hulkster getting down and dirty with the wife of his friend Bubba the Love Sponge; Bubba and Mrs. Bubba would later divorce but were married when the secret video footage was shot.
After the deed was done Bubba returned to the room and discussed the potential gold mine they were sitting on but his wife Heather Clem seemed to have a soft spot in her heart for Hulk, remarking on the top that they'd never blackmail Hogan.
Hogan was adamant that his friend Bubba would never secretly film him but couldn't ignore the eveidence, eventually filing a lawsuit against Bubba, his wife, and the website Gawker for posting portions of the sex tape online.
Bubba and Hulk would eventually patch things up but Hogan decided to continue his legal fight against Clem and Gawker, re-filing the $100 million lawsuit in early 2013 in Florida so that the two separate lawsuits he has against them could be consolidated into one.
In an unrelated case, Hogan has also filed a $50 million lawsuit against the Laser Spine Institute, claiming that they did unnecessary surgeries that impacted his career and that they also used an endorsement from him without permission.
Since retiring from wrestling Hogan has been involved with various business ventures including several restaurants, the newest of which is called Hogan's Beach which just opened in the Tampa area.
