Hulkamania may be coming back to your screen but not exactly in the way you might be used to.
Rumors of a Hulk Hogan sex tape have been circulating since April but the full 30-minute video has now been leaked to Gawker and other publications.
It may not be lighting up Web searches in the same way the Paris Hilton sex tape did but TMZ and other outlets have been running with the story -- especially as more sordid details have leaked out over time.
Hogan claims that the sex tape was made wirthout his permission and has sought the aid of local Florida police in tracking down the culprit that taped and leaked it.
As details have emerged, the story gets a bit messier.
Hogan's former best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge (a well-known radio DJ), is reportedly the man who taped it and Hogan's partner in bed is Heather Clem, who was Bubba's wife at the time.
It's hard to accuse her of sneaking around, though, as Bubba appears early in the video and then leaves the two to have at it, saying "You guys do your thing. I'll be in the office if you need me."
After the two "do their thing," Hogan leaves and Bubba returns, telling Clem on tape that "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage."
Hogan had previously defended Bubba on the "Howard Stern Show", adamantly insisting that his friend wasn't the person behind the sex tape.
Hogan hasn't had much luck in either getting Gawker to remove the one minute clip they're featuring on their website or in getting any help from local cops.
The film was made in 2006 so the statue of limitations has expired for any legal action for filming Hogan without his permission.
