Bieber Takes on Pacquiao

bieberpac

Justin Bieber isn't letting a murder-castration plot get him down as he's creating a stir of his own by taking shots at Manny Pacquiao.

Bieber posted two different Photoshops on Instagram poking fun at Pacquiao after Manny's stunning knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez.

In one an image of Simba from "The Lion King" is prodding Pacquiao as he's lying prone on the canvas -- with a caption saying "Dad wake up" -- while the other showed different images of Pacquiao on the ropes and Michael Jackson in a similar pose.

The caption says "Pacquiao doing the lean with MJ...Classic moment."

The Biebs hasn't been shy in the past about being a Floyd Mayweather fan so it's no surprise that he'd be taking some jabs at Pacman.

Pacquiao didn't respond but several legislators in the Philippines -- where Pacquaio has been elected to Congress several times -- weren't amused and issued the following statement:

"Mr. Bieber should have known that the Hon. Pacquiao has reached his stature as such as a result of sheer hard work, determination and firm belief in God, and despite such stature best exemplifies humility and grace even in defeat."

Bieber didn't seem too concerned by objections from any haters and posted several responses to his 30 million Twitter followers that included screenshots of some of the anrgy comments.

He chalked it up to this:

"If they were beliebers I know they wouldn't leave my side over a Boxing opinion I have."

Bieber also ruffled a few feathers by giving away his hamster -- which apparently was called PAC, although apparently not in homage to Pacquiao -- during a concert, handing him off to a screaming female fan and telling her "That's all you."

Animal rights groups weren't amused and protested that the Biebs was promoting irresponsible pet care. PAC has since updated "his" Twitter account to let everyone know he's happy and doing well with his new owner.
